Sr. Loretta was curious, often seeking to understand the mystery of God and listening to others as they searched for meaning. Sister Maureen Cooper, OP of the Dominican Sisters of Hope, died on May 8th in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Her nieces Mary Knueppel, Mary Agnes Mosbach and Eileen Watrus.The family wishes ti thank the staff of Brandywine for excellent care they provided to our Aunt. At 111 years of age and nearly 90 years of religious life, she was the oldest living woman religious in the United States. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In 2015, Sr. Michaeleen entered a ministry of prayer and presence at Mohun, where she had served for so long. Sister Victoria Vicki Lauria, OP, died Nov. 17, 2022. She was 99 years of age.
